Clay Drinko, Ph.D. is an educator and the author of Play Your Way Sane: 120 Improv-Inspired Exercises to Help You Calm Down, Stop Spiraling, and Embrace Uncertainty. Clay earned his Ph.D. in drama and theatre studies and has two Master’s degrees and for the past decade has researched improvisation and its applications. Clay’s research explores improvisation’s effects on consciousness and cognition while comparing these theories to current findings in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy.
